Are you an innovative curriculum leader and qualified teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity?

An opportunity has arisen at Wynstones School in Gloucestershire in the UK for a committed and capable educator to join and help form an integrated and diverse pioneering team that relaunches the school in September 2021, serving as the ground-breaking Phase Lead for our Kindergarten and Class 1 (rising 4’s to 7’s, years N,R,1&2).

 

We are looking for:

Professional and progressive Steiner Waldorf Kindergarten Staff who excel at curating a learning environment of exploration and discovery; interact and teach in a way which cultivates and nourishes children’s holistic development; and hold a bearing and presence which inspires imitation.

Kindergarten Staff with the ability to plan, deliver and develop a living curriculum of inspiration and growth, progress and attainment for the school’s Kindergarten children; who embody Waldorf pedagogy as an art, craft and science of practice; who undertake a professional reflexivity; who freshly curate the developmental challenges at the core of the curriculum for each group.

Teachers will hold an accredited Steiner Waldorf Early Years (EYE) Qualification (Level 3 and above) and / or / including: Qualified Teacher Status; Early Years Professional Status; Early Years Teacher Status or another suitable qualification. Kindergarten Teaching Assistants will need a minimum Level 3 EYE qualification and could be a student on one of the Steiner Early Years Training courses. All Kindergarten staff will also have an up-to-date qualification in paediatric first aid PFA (this can be updated in-service).

This is an exciting time for Wynstones as it relaunches itself after 80 years of service, poised to offer a progressive and professional provision in Steiner Waldorf education. You will have a central role in this renewal, ensuring that the school’s ethos and vision are a living culture within both classroom and community.

Salary: £27,600  – £34,100 based on experience
