Wynstones is a Steiner Waldorf School, co-education from age 3 to A Level at age 18
Wynstones Extension Class

5 mornings a week

8.30am – 1.00pm according to individual timetable.

Students will only be required to attend their specific lesson but will be warmly welcomed to choir/orchestra and all school activities.

Students will receive 5 lessons a week in each of their A2 subjects.

A2 courses will be completed in the January examination session.

Pupils will be offered advice and assistance with completing ICAS (university entrance) forms and help with ‘gap’ planning.

Other activities such as trips to university open days, theatre or gallery outing etc. will be organised according to the groups interested.

 

We will provide:

1. A2 courses.
2. A college style learning environment.
3. A consultative approach to course development.
4. A designated learning space.
5. A designated course tutor.

Charges.

Charges will be 70% of first term’s fees for Class 12 thereby reflecting the contact time provided.

 

Class Twelve Commencing 2005 fully operational 2006

Pupils offered a range of AS subjects and encouraged to choose 3 with a maximum of 4.

Pupils complete the Waldorf curriculum and have 3 or 4 AS levels.

All subjects marked with a * can be completed to A2 (by the end of class XII pupils will have completed 4 of 6 modules).

WYNSTONES EXTENSION CLASS
Commencing 2006 offering A2 courses to be completed in JANUARY; a 6 month course.
